What Approbo is

A monitoring service. It reads publicly available store data on a schedule and notifies you about what it finds. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Apple Inc. or Google LLC.

What it depends on

Both stores publish the data this product reads, and neither promises to keep doing so. If an endpoint changes shape or stops answering, monitoring for that store pauses until we adapt. We will tell you rather than silently reporting that nothing is wrong.

Availability

Reads happen on your plan’s cadence, best effort. A missed cadence means a later alert, not a lost one: the next read picks up everything since the last watermark.

Acceptable use

Do not use Approbo to harass a reviewer, to build a public database of review authors, or to drive automated action against individuals. The free reader is rate limited; scripting it is not what it is for, and there is an API for accounts that need volume.

Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly through Whop, which is the merchant of record. Cancel there and the plan runs to the end of its period, then reverts to free — apps beyond the free limit are paused rather than deleted.

Liability

Approbo is provided as is. It is a tool for noticing things sooner; it is not a guarantee that anything will be noticed, and decisions taken on what it reports are yours.
